Most of the group members are farmers. Due to low prices of rice, the group was set up to acquire another occupation to earn a living. With financial support from the government agencies, the group produces shrimp chili sauce. Because of this good quality and delicious product, the group has been creating more incomes to the members’ families. And the product was also select as Wat Kaeo’s number one product under the OTOP project.
Manufacturing procedures
Simmer garlic and sliced onion. Then, grind chili, lemon grass, leech lime leaves, and galangal together. Fry the ground ingredients with garlic, sliced onions, salt, fish sauce, orange juice, tamarind juice, lemon juice, shrimps, clams, squids, fish and rice grains. Fry until it is dry. Add seasonings if you wish.
