Nongmon is Thailand’ famous source of processed fruits. And Namwa banana is cash crop widely grown in Chon Buri. Due to the excess supply, Namwa bananas have lower price – a problem for Thai banana growers. With an aim to help them, Nongmon SMJ Products Co., Ltd. have been producing processed bananas, which results in value added to agricultural produce and creating jobs.
