The group was established in 1999 as people in the community lost their job due to the economic downturn. The group produces Thai rolled wafer for sale in the community, the province and other provinces. The group’s product become a famous souvenir from Bang Ban.
Manufacturing procedures
Mix flour, sugar, coconut milk, eggs and salt. Add coconut milk little by little. Add sesame, vegetables and herbs. Pour mixed flour in molds. Bake it until it becomes yellow. Then, roll or fold it.
Product strengths
Herbs such as lemon grass, leech lime leaves, black pepper, black sesame and ginger are used. Vegetabls such as pandanus leaves, pumpkins, sweet taro, bananas, coriander, and onion plant are used.
