The villagers in Ban Phon have passed down the knowledge of weaving from generations to generations. When Her Majesty the Queen visited the village, she was interested in weaving and gave silk threads to the villagers to weave cloth for her. Later, villager developed their woven cloth to be suitable for making garments.
