 Background |
 Ban Benchawan Handicrafts Center opened its bread-flower manufacturing factory in Chiang Mai with 15 skills in 1989. Later, in 1997, the factory began to produce incensed candles as its main products with assistance from Industry Promotion Center which imparted knowledge and distributed work to 6 communities of 90 residents -- supplementary forces when the factory receives a large quantity of orders. At present, Ban Ben Chanwas is distributing 80% out of 30,000 items produced montyly. |
